Topic: The Transcendent Calm: The Unbothered Spirit of Jesus

Bible Highlight:

"And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, 'Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?'"
Mark 4:37-38 (NKJV)

The Devotional:

The Spirit of Jesus is a Spirit of colossal magnitude—a fortress utterly "unbothered" by the chaotic hila-hilos and oscillating vicissitudes of life. It is a Spirit anchored deeply in the immutable mercy of the Most High. Are you currently navigating a raging tempest? Does it appear that your vessel is taking on water, poised to sink into the abyss? Has your heart entered a perpetual state of panic? Speak these words with conviction: "Lord Jesus, You are the equilibrium of my soul and the strength of my life. Amen."

In our humanity, we struggle to mirror this divine composure. Our natural instinct is to panic, harboring the suspicion that if we do not frantically intervene, our boat will capsize. Yet, Jesus possessed the unbothered Holy Spirit—a serenity that was ready to face the action not with anxiety, but with authority. The passage does not suggest we should be unbothered by duties that require our attention; rather, we must be unbothered by situations that threaten to breach our spiritual defense system. Excessive worry is a dangerous gateway; it creates a draining loophole through which temptation enters.

There are storms beyond your control where the only logical response is divine stillness. In such moments, while you actively place your trust in God, you must maintain an internal posture of being unbothered. To do otherwise is to open strange doors to fear, doubt, and iniquity—which serves as the brooding ground for the tempter to strike.

Observe the life of Jesus in the wilderness. He was completely unbothered by the devil’s provocations. He focused His mind entirely on His submission to God’s Will, which empowered Him to select the precise, sword-like answers in Matthew 4:1-11. The bridge between your current crisis and your deliverance is your ability to remain spiritually unruffled, allowing the Lord to dismantle the storm.

When you are agitated, your prayers often feel intercepted because the tempter uses your anxiety to measure the "degrees" of your faith. I pray that God will not permit the enemy to gauge our spiritual temperature through our fears. Consider the degrees of little children; they are perpetually unbothered because of their inherent trust and innocence (Matthew 18:3).

We decree that we shall not be shaken in Jesus' name. Let us surrender our lives to Christ, accepting Him as Lord and King, and petition Him for the gift of His "Unbotherable" Holy Spirit. Panic is a product of ignorance, for as Jesus told the woman at the well, "You Samaritans worship what you do not know" (John 4:22). To know Him is to have peace.

Prayer:

Father Lord Jesus, grant me the impartation of Your Unbotherable Holy Spirit. Bestow upon me the grace that defeats the tempter through the power of stillness and absolute trust. I receive the peace that surpasses all understanding. In the Name of Jesus, Hallelujah. 🙏🏾✨

Every Demon making you uncomfortable will go

An Emoji Devotional for Tue 14th October 2025

Topic: Every Demon making you Uncomfortable will go

Highlights:

"Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. St. Matthew 7:7

"Go and say to Hezekiah, 'This is what the LORD God of your ancestor David says: I've heard your prayer. I've seen your tears. I'm going to give you 15 more years to live. Isaiah 38:5

Have you ever been sick or felt uncomfortable in life before. Naturally or unnaturally things could that make one uncomfortable may occur by internal or external forces. Our life must depend on higher power to save us from the invader. No argument, it's not everything that's demonic but somehow if things gets out of hand or gets out of control. You need to pray. There was a day I felt so sick and was at the point of dying then I quote God's word in Psalms 118:17

"I will not die, but I will live and tell what the LORD has done."

Suddenly the sickness went off like as if the night suddenly turns into day and I was made whole. But some long time back when I had similar experience, I had to quote several words of God and prayed with many declarations before I got my healing.

The difference is there are demons making people's life uncomfortable and what makes them likewise uncomfortable is when make healthy declarations concerning ourselves from the Bible and having faith that they are powerful and working. And that's it! Uncomfortable situation will say bye bye to you.

So when you are faced with a situation that make your life feel uncomfortable, speak the word of God to yourself and believe you are someone special by the word.

Prayer: Father it is written, no weapon formed against me shall prosper in Jesus name. Amen
